Our research starts where the network actually lives: in production, with hands-on testing, operator surveys, and decades of running and buying infrastructure. We tell buyers what works, tell vendors what their users need, and keep the analysis independent of both.

Now in progress: The State of Network Automation 2026

The State of Network Automation survey is the industry’s largest dataset on real-world automation adoption, with 681 respondents in 2025. This year we’re pairing it with vendor-level analysis: an independent landscape of commercial automation products, built on the community-led NAF framework, plus a buying framework for teams evaluating their options. Summary results debut at AutoCon 6 in Tucson this November.
